{"id":86,"date":"2014-05-23T16:34:57","date_gmt":"2014-05-23T20:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rosemariearnoldreviews.com\/?p=86"},"modified":"2014-06-25T16:35:49","modified_gmt":"2014-06-25T20:35:49","slug":"new-york-post-woman-sues-live-nation-after-seat-full-of-splinters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rosemariearnoldreviews.com\/new-york-post-woman-sues-live-nation-after-seat-full-of-splinters\/","title":{"rendered":"New York Post: &#8220;Woman sues Live Nation after seat full of splinters&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Julia Marsh<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/nypost.com\/2014\/04\/28\/woman-sues-live-nation-after-seat-full-of-splinters\/\" target=\"_blank\">NYPost.com<\/a><br \/>\nApril 28, 2014<\/p>\n<p>A woman got a rude surprise when she politely slid to the other side of a bench to make room for a fellow Westbury concertgoer \u2014 a backside full of splinters.<\/p>\n<p>Linda Vanston, a schoolteacher from New Jersey, is suing the NYCB Theater at Westbury on Long Island over the injury.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was not aware that the bench had exposed sharp shards of wood sticking out of it,\u201d said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosemariearnold.com\" target=\"_blank\">her lawyer, Rosemarie Arnold<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe stood up to look at what had happened, and she saw the frayed wood on the bench.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vanston, 55, was wearing silk pants and sitting on the bench outside the Engelbert Humperdinck concert on April 29, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The 1,000 splinters that wedged in her thighs and buttocks have been coming out, around a dozen a day, since then, Arnold said.<\/p>\n<p>Vanston has received \u201cpainful injections to help dislodge,\u201d them, her Nassau County Supreme Court suit says.
